We have taken a look at the weather and the calendar for the last 9 days of school. Given that, the weather this week doesn't look promising enough for the fields to dry up and for us to have a successful day. When we make these decisions, we need to always put student safety first. Last Thursday’s temperature put us into an unhealthy range with a heat index of 100 degrees and UV index of 10+. The administration conferred with our school nurse and our weather guidelines, and we were unable to hold it. The next few days rain is impending, and we need the field to be dry enough for students' safety. With that, we are rescheduling it for NEXT Tuesday, June 13th. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding! We are looking forward to a fun-filled day!
