The Renaissance was a time of rebirth.  Students will be examining the lives of these citizens while reading Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.

Study will focus on:

  • Learning about William Shakespeare

  • Reading and Writing about Romeo and Juliet 

  • Royalty during Renaissance

  • Need for rebirth                             

  • Early explorers

  • Important artists, inventors, and scientists of the Renaissance

 

 

Romeo and Juliet is a classic Shakespearean tragedy.  Once students grasp the language of Shakespeare, they become interested in the tragic plot of this love story.

Students will be investigating

Shakespeare and the history of the

Globe Theatre.
