The study of the Middle Ages involves examining the decline of the Roman Empire, moving through the Dark Ages and then the beginning of the re-birth or Renaissance. 

Study of this time period includes:

  • Examining architecture of time period
  • Study of feudal government of Middle Ages
  • Comparing and contrasting lives of peasants to royalty
  • Becoming a knight
  • Important events and people: Joan of Arc, Crusades, Saints, William the Conqueror, Charlemagne
