Girl Named Disaster tells
the story of a year in the life of an African girl named
Nhamo. She lived in a traditional Shona village in
Mozambique, but events force her run away. On her
journey she faces many obstacles, but learns more about
herself and Africa than she would have if she had stayed
in the village.
