Welcome to our class web page. You will find out a lot about our day by reading the information below. You already hear from us once a week with the class letter, so the communication is flowing. This web site is an effort to increase your knowledge about the happenings of 5-S!

Class Policies Each student is AWARE of 5-S Appropriate Behaviors. Our rules of acceptable behavior developed from DJ Bakie's school rules. We all have a hand in making our classroom the best! Students decided to be safe, be respectful and work cooperatively, and to be responsible. If a student receives a Warning, this results in their name on the Name chart. A check, for the second infraction means silent lunch. A third infraction, a 2nd check, is a loss of recess. If there is a fourth mark for the day, Detention will follow. A note will be sent home and parents will be responsible for picking up their student. Hopefully this would end the problem. I will be in touch with you if I need to! Homework policies are set by the district. 45 minutes each night is the suggested period of time for a 5th grader to study. Please feel free to practice math facts, read independently or study spelling if the time falls short. Parent
