Philosophy

The Technical Education’s mission is to introduce the skills needed to perform work involved in the departments of Automotive, Welding, Drafting, and Woodworking.  The skills learned in Technical Education will allow the students to gain knowledge in these areas that can be extended into a career or for use in their everyday lives.  Through the study of Automotive, Welding, and Woodworking students will gain the self-confidence to use the skills learned in Technical Education.  The Technical Education encourages students to explore the different aspects of education to find a career or hobby that may interest them in the future.  Therefore, it is Technical Education’s goal to allow the students to experience the different skills in the areas of Automotive, Welding, and Woodworking.
