Here are some interesting tidbits of information. 

Points to Ponder

Did you know that Native Americans in the northeast tapped maple trees to make maple syrup every spring, but didn't consume it until late fall and winter?

The Native Americans also knew something else about maple syrup consumption in warmer months, that the settlers were unaware of.
