Fifth grade students can expect between thirty and sixty minutes of homework each Monday through Thursday. I will periodically make special arrangements with students to complete make-up work on a Friday. Homework will cover a range of subjects and activities. I recommend that students and parents agree upon a set time of day when such assignments can be completed. I suggest that parents students' work for quality of completion, while allowing students to take ownership of their own learning.

Each student will be provided with an agenda/daily planner, which should be taken home at the end of each day. All assignments will be recorded in this planner. If your child is absent, he/she will be given the opportunity to make-up missed work. If you know ahead of time that your child will be absent, please let me know and I will be happy to put materials together for them.
