Career Week
March 17 - 21

The Sanborn Middle School Guidance Department is sponsoring a "Career Week" from March 17 through March 21.  We are asking adults in the community to visit thee 8th grade classes on Thursday morning, March 20, to share information on their careers.  Please consider sharing your experiences with our emerging young adults.

 

We are looking for people who work in the following areas:
  • Agriculture, Food, Natural Resources
  • Architecture and Construction
  • Arts, A/V Technology and Communications
  • Business Management and Administration
  • Education and Training
  • Finance
  • Government and Public Administration
  • Health Science
  • Hospitality & Tourism
  • Human Services
  • Information Technology
  • Law, Public Safety, Corrections, Security
  • Manufacturing
  • Marketing, Sales and Service
  • Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
  • Transportation Distribution and Logistics

Presentations will run between 10 to 20 minutes.  Information you may want to include: education; experience; best and worst parts of the job; lifestyle and/or economic opportunities; any show and tell activity.
