Information shared with a counselor in a private conversation will be kept confidential. there are several exceptions to confidentiality which include: threats to harm self or others, reasonable suspicion of abuse or neglect, when ordered to by court, and to defend self in a legal case.
School counselor's respect the inherent rights and responsibilities of parents for their children and endeavor to establish cooperative relationships with parents to facilitate maximum development of the student.

Welcome to the Memorial Elementary Guidance Page

Hi My name is Amy Collins and I am the Guidance Counselor at Memorial School. I started working at Memorial during the fall of 1999. I was a counselor in the BASICS Program for eight years prior to moving into this position and was a therapist in a residential home in Allenstown, New Hampshire before starting here. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology at Syracuse University and my Master’s in Education in Counseling at the University of New Hampshire.  I enjoy spending time with my family and being with the students here at Memorial. I just love to see their smiling faces when they enter the building each day!
