The Library Media Center exists to support information and literature needs of students, school staff & parents:
- to provide materials and activities that nurture children K through 5 in their experience of literature and information in print, media and technology
- to support and enhance students' classroom learning by these means; to develop students' understanding of sources and varieties of information that enable lifelong learning in a democratic society.
This mission is carried out in a planned systematic way, with respect for the learner's individuality and development.
