School Safety Officer

     Rick Theriault

       SSO Rick Theriault is a retired Police Lieutenant with the Kingston Police Department with 20 years in Law Enforcement.  He is a certified School Resource Officer through NASRO and also completed the SRO Leadership Program.  He assisted in the implementation of the SRO program and was the first SRO at Sanborn Regional High School.  He has held various Police positions such as District Court Prosecutor for 16 years, Field Training Officer, Administrative/Patrol Supervisor, Detective Training Officer, and is a certified instructor through NH Police Standards and Training to name a few.

      Mr. Theriault is currently a Justice of the Peace for the State of New Hampshire and is appointed as a Bail Commissioner for the Plaistow District Court.  He is a Certified Driving Instructor for the State of New Hampshire and currently teaches Driver Education at Sanborn and Pro Staff Driving School.  He served and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps.  He received the Medal of Honor from the Kingston Police Department and two Exceptional Service awards.

        Mr. Theriault's goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for students and staff at Sanborn Regional High School and be another resource for students to assist them in their educational and growing experience.
