CEMPS OVERVIEW |

Sanborn Regional High School has a CEMPS
committee comprised of Sanborn Regional administrators, teachers,
counselors, a school nurse, maintenance, and custodial personnel. The
committee is chaired by the building principal. The committee meets monthly
throughout the entire school year and conducts bimonthly safety inspections
of all buildings and grounds on the campus.
The committee has established clearly defined procedures to maintain safety of all students and staff when school is in session. Formal plans exist to deal with evacuation and lock down (secure building) procedures. All plans are routinely practiced and drilled. Student and staff accountability are comprehensive in nature and include a variety of checks and balances to ensure safety.
