Students are to be cleared from hallways, outdoor areas, bathrooms or the cafeteria and enter the nearest classroom or adult supervised area

Close and lock all windows and doors – no one is to leave the room for any reason

Move away from all doors and windows

Whenever possible, cover doors and windows

Students should sit on floor away from doors and windows

Teacher should take attendance

Wait for and follow further instructions from administration or safety personnel

Resume normal activity after announcement is made that the lockdown is over
