Call the main office to report injury

Make sure to follow universal precautions regarding body fluids

School nurse will then be notified of identity of injured, nature of injury and location  

If necessary, emergency personnel will be notified via 911

No one should move injured until medical help arrives

Students should be evacuated from immediate area of injury

School nurse and/or other on-the-scene medical personnel will advise regarding the best course of action

Notify emergency contacts from staff or student Health Emergency Cards
