Re: Student Drop-Off/Pick-Up and Visitor Parking Information

Student Drop Off
Student drop off is held in the main parking lot of the school. Students should plan to arrive at school no earlier than 8:30 a.m. In order to speed the flow of traffic and keep cars from backing up onto Main Street, we ask that parents remain in their cars and say goodbye quickly when in the drop off lane. There is parent parking available across the street in the Swazey Gym parking lot or in the gravel area for parents who wish to enter the building with your child. Staff will begin to invite students into the K-1 hallway at 8:30 a.m. Please do not drop off students from Main St. or the gravel parking area.

In the event that the drop-off/pick-up loop is full, please enter the Seminary area at the gates and drive past Swasey Gym to line you car up facing the Bakie loop.

Student Pick Up
After school students should report to the end of the kindergarten wing. Parents will be asked to stay in their cars and a staff member will bring children and the sign out clipboard to them. If a child doesn't come to the kindergarten area immediately after school, and the parent is in the student pick up area, he/she will be asked to pull through the circle again so that the pick up line is not held up.

Visitor Parking
Visitor parking is across the street at the Swazey parking lot. Follow the sidewalk to the building. If visitors are planning to stop in briefly and there is a vacant space in the gravel parking area, they can park there. Parking in front of the school is not allowed as this is used for emergency entry/exit by the police and fire departments.
