Announcement of Election of a New Principal
for the D. J. Bakie Elementary SchoolBeginning July 1, 2007
The Sanborn Regional School Board is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Debora Bamforth of East Hampstead, New Hampshire as Principal of the D. J. Bakie Elementary School. Mrs. Bamforth has her Bachelors in Science Degree from Salem State College in elementary education, a Master’s in Educational Administration from Rivier College and other graduate credits from multiple higher education institutions. She is certified by the New Hampshire Department of Education as a Principal and as a elementary teacher. She has worked as a teacher and elementary team coordinator at West Running Brook Elementary School, Derry, New Hampshire from 1995 through 2001. Since the fall of 2001, she has worked at The Timberlane Regional Middle School in Plaistow, New Hampshire. At the Timberlane Regional Middle School, she has served as an Enrichment Coordinator and a Curriculum Coordinator. Mrs. Bamforth is a certified as a trainer/consultant in the Write Traits model of student writing. She is a collaborative leader with a proven record of school leadership and demonstrated compassion for students. She has worked at the Timberlane Regional Middle School to develop a common vision for education, to communicate clear expectations for staff, and work toward common goals for the educational system. She is known as a thoughtful leader with a strong sense of integrity. She describes herself a lifelong learner.
