Principal's Message

Good Morning Folks,

I trust your summer is going well and you are enjoying some needed rest and relaxation.  As you get recharged for another fun and intense new school year, there are many new and exciting changes and challenges that face us all.

I am happy to inform you of five important personnel changes.  We are happy to welcome Ryan McCluskey as our new assistant principal.  Ms. Rebekah Prince will take over David Harris's 8th grade Science position.  Ms. Heather Bell will take over Amanda Komarek's 6th grade Science position.  Late this summer Anne Parent accepted a job at Central Catholic and we are very lucky to have Ms. Alison Trimper accept the 8th grade Math position.  Colin McQueen assumed a full time Spanish position at our high school and we are thrilled to have had Cristina Coffill accept this Spanish position.  We are also excited the have Rene LaBlanc take on a full time paraprofessional position this year.  As you personally know, it is difficult to lose people we have worked so closely with, but we are very fortunate to have been able to hire an extremely talented administrator, teachers, and paraprofessional.

In addition to our new staff at the middle school there have been many important changes at the SAU level.  We are happy to announce the hiring of Thomas Ambrose as our new superintendent.  Michelle Croteau is our new business manager and Michael Turmelle will move from high school assistant principal to the district curriculum coordinator by the opening of school.

Thanks to Suzanne Bass, Charlotte Misuraca, Ruth Benjamin, and all our summer teachers who have worked to make this a successful summer for all of us.  Special thanks goes out to our custodial staff, Kyle Cotter, Will McGregor, Don Jones, and our maintenance specialist Bill Wadleigh who have done a phenomenal job making our building beautiful.

See you soon,
Sandy
